Four steps to choosing the type of magnetic strip you need:

A variety of high quality laminations are available that are typically applied to the non-magnetic (weak) side of the strip. The most frequently used laminates on magnetic strip are adhesives and some applications require vinyls.

Indoor (Rubber-Based)	Indoor and craft applications
Premium (Rubber-Based)	Indoor applications (Higher tack adhesive for rougher surface textures)
Rubber-Based Foam Adhesive	Indoor (Adheres to uneven or porous surfaces)
Acrylic-Based Adhesive	Indoor/Outdoor for adhering to plastics or soft vinyls
Acrylic-Based Foam Adhesive	Indoor (Adheres to textured, porous, and plastic or vinyl surfaces)

Vinyl Laminates	Typical Use
Colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, gold, brown, white, black and silver (on weak side)	Maximum thickness .060", Menu boards, inventory labeling and production planning
