Bi Polar Magnetic Assemblies

Bi-Polar Assemblies

Used for holding and transferring parts, for aligning pieces during gas welding operations, as the holding elements on paint racks, and as holding devices in industrial ovens or the oil industry. These models are built to handle high temperatures (up to 600° F) and excessive abuse. Painted black.

Magnetic Squaring Arm

Magnetic Squaring Arm

Hold a true cutting edge when shearing or cutting steel. With a couple turns of the built in release knob, this squaring arm can be repositioned quickly and accurately. Once attached to a flat metal surface, the magnetic squaring arm is held firmly in place. Up to 480 lbs. of holding force. Measures 12” L x 2.125” W x 1.0625” H.

Welding Magnets

Magnetic Welding Angles

Hold thick or thin gauge steel securely in place for optimum welding. Powerful magnets are mounted in stainless steel housing with an adjustable or fixed 90° angle.

Work Holding Magnet

Alnico Assemblies
Most useful where heat is a factor. They withstand temperatures of 850° F without appreciable loss of power. They should be insulated with a nonferrous sleeve such as aluminum or brass when pressed into steel. Listed below are the most common sizes we offer, though other sizes are available. Most available with or without tapped hole. Contact us for more details.

Work Holding Magnet

Ceramic Assemblies
Ceramic assemblies use a ferrite magnet encased in an aluminum cup. They should not be used in temperatures greater than 180° F because of the epoxy. They can be pressed into steel without any further insulation. Most are available with or without a tapped hole. Other sizes available. Contact us for more details.
