Production Planner

Position Summary
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Essential
- Utilizes ERP/MRP software to determine and create the production plan
- Develops and maintains production work schedule
- Coordinates with the Production Manager in resolving scheduling priorities by gathering and analyzing requirements and constraints
- Coordinates with the Production Manager on the elimination of finished good stock shortages
- Actions manufacturing orders in a timely manner
- Coordinates with Purchasing team on material shortages
- Tracks incoming raw materials and adjust the production schedule as necessary
- Interacts with production leads, operators, and warehouse staff
- Ensures raw material moves timely and efficiently internally to support the production plan
- Enacts schedule changes
- Be a Subject Matter Expert for products and manufacturing capacities

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
- Working knowledge of bill of materials and inventory accounting
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all team members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to prepare reports and other documents through the ERP/MRP software
- Customer driven and team oriented
- Demonstrates effective and professional oral, written, and telephone communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Handles difficult situations with diplomacy
EDUCATION:
- Associates Degree in Business
, Math or related field, or 3 years related work experience or suitable combination of both
Pay Range $23-$27.00 per hour
