Finds things in corners I cant reach.

Not what I expected, but in an ok way. This tool works but is not soft/flexible if that is what you wanted. With this tool I recovered a fumbled wrench from my V10's abyss/valley under the intake manifold.
The flexi-shaft of this tool is a rigid but bendable rod not easily folded up and put away. Strong magnet though!
I think I would recommend to buy the flexi one instead.

I ended up getting a pair of scissors stuck behind a bank of drawers that couldnt be removed, and they are cabinet drawers in the kitchen, so I couldnt disassemble the backs. This magnet did the trick! It took over a week to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. It picked up the scissors without any problem and I was able to retrieve them. Yay!

I like the Master Magnetics 07229 Bendable Magnetic Pick-Up Tool because it can pickup and hold bolts, dropped sockets, and dropped flashlights. I've used it to retrieve dropped tools and parts from inside engines and engine bays. I've also used it to fish lost fasteners at the bottom of part cleaner tanks. The neck is stiff and holds its bent shapes well. The magnet is appropriately strong for retrieving tools and parts from hard to reach places.
